THUNDERLAND
Thunderland: The Story of Daniel Boone was presented as a living endowment for the benefit of Ashville-Biltmore College by Sunset Mountain Attractions, Inc. The Production was held at the Forest Amphitheatre, Biltmore Estate, Ashville, North Carolina in 1952. Thunderland deals with the unfolding story of the opening of the Old Southwest through the eyes of Daniel Boone. Abe Feder was contracted to design and implement a permanent lighting design for the Forest Amphitheatre and to provide the lighting effects for Thunderland.
