How it Works

The materials are on special shelves in the Reference Department. While most of the print material cannot be checked out, users may photocopy and print for a small per-page fee. Visitors conduct their own research, but library staff will help them get started. For funding research, databases are accessible through public computers in the Library or via patrons’ own laptops if they are Wi-Fi enabled. Search results can be e-mailed or saved onto disks or portable memory devices. Comprehensive introductions to the resources are available via appointment at 706-243-2687.

Training

The Library will offer periodic training sessions on how to effectively use the Cooperating Collection resources and identify potential funders. Call 706-243-2687 to register your interest.
