AFLAC Vacation Reading Program 2008

It’s not too late to join the Aflac Vacation Reading program!

Not only great performers, but great prizes await those who fly through their books! Come register at any library for a chance to win portable DVD players and more!

It’s easy to participate…
1. Sign up at your local library; you’ll receive a log sheet to record your reading.
2. After reading ten books or reading for ten hours, bring your log sheet back to the library. You’ll get cool prizes and will be entered in our grand prize drawing to win one of our portable DVD players.
3. Come visit us for one of our reading parties! We have great entertainment, refreshments, and a whole lot of fun! Appearing at a branch near you this summer… Magician Arthur Atsma, lots of real live animals from Wildlife Wonders, storyteller Donna Washington, and the incredible Atlanta Puppet Theatre.

Fun, romance, and adventure – puppet style! Reading bugs, princesses and princes, sword fights, and much more await you when this great puppeteer brings his talents to the Chattahoochee Valley.

He’s back for more merriment and mayhem! You won’t believe what this magic man can do with cards, coins, and more. He’s a Columbus favorite, and he’ll be at a library near you!

“CATCH THE READING BUG” PUPPET SHOW
Come join us for the “Catch the Reading Bug” puppet show. The show will take children on several adventures with different types of bugs, including a spider, a ladybug, a roach, a bee, and an ant. The show will include audience participation, activities and songs.
