About the branch:
North Columbus Branch Library is located next to the Britt David Magnet
Academy and is across the street from the Britt David Park.
North users are primarily retired seniors and stay at-home parents.
To serve this community, NCBL offers a large collection of Large Print
materials and a Thursday Movie Matinee of feature films, new releases
and classic movies geared towards senior users. In addition, the library
offers a variety of creative learning activities for pre-school and
school age children.
A special service available at North is exam proctoring for adults
seeking to further their education or gain certification in their
career field.
The library serves more than 15,000 visitors monthly and circulates
between 17,000 – 19,000 items monthly. The NCBL staff goal is
to provide “excellent customer service”—our motto
is we “point with our feet not our hands.”
