The Library is seeking positive, responsible, enthusiastic
students who enjoy working with the public to participate
in the 2008 Teen Summer Volunteer Program. Teens must
be at least 12 years old, willing to volunteer between
6 –12 hours per week, and commit to a weekly schedule. The Teen Summer Volunteer
Program runs from May
27 – July 27 and is sponsored by the
Muscogee County Friends of Libraries.

Valley Regional Library System! Volunteers provide an opportunity
for enhancing and extending the highest quality in library
service. CVRLS volunteers bring a wide range of skills, talents,
and experience to the library. Volunteers give countless hours
of dedicated service at all of our nine locations.
We are looking for volunteers who:
Commit to a weekly schedule
Work a minimum of 2 hours per week
Are 14 years of age or older (occasionally
we have projects for 12 and 13 year olds)
Like people and books
Enjoy the hard work that goes into
making the library a success
Posses good organizational and
communication skills
