InterLibrary Loan
Need a book or an article
that our library does not own? You can complete an
Interlibrary Loan Request
Form and staff will make
every effort to locate the item. The library will attempt to borrow
the item from another library system. If the item is unavailable through
Interlibrary Loan, it will be considered for purchase. Interlibrary
Loan is a library service that enables us to borrow and lend materials
to libraries outside the Chattahoochee Valley Regional Library System.
Please follow these steps when making a request:
1. Check CVRLS’ catalog to see if we own the item(s). Library
staff will be happy to help you with this search.
2. If we do not own the item or if the last copy is missing, fill
out the Interlibrary
Loan Request Form and submit via Email.
3. In the Origin field, select which branch you would like to pick
up your ILL.
4. If you are interested in renewing an item, please call the ILL
department.
If another library is able to fill the request, it normally takes
two weeks to arrive. Since items are borrowed from other libraries,
it is imperative that items are returned on the due date. If items
are not returned, patrons will be charged the cost of the item(s).
